Top Bunk

“This room is for Lee, Chip and Kipper,” said Mum.

“Things can go up on this,” said Dad.

Chip had the top bunk.

Kipper had the bottom bunk.

Chip sat on the top bunk.

“Oh no!” he said. “I cannot sit up.”

Dad cut the legs shorter.

Dad put the bunk back.

“oh no!” said Chip.

“I will slip down.”

Dad cut the legs again.

He put the bunk back.

“Now I cannot sit up,” said Kipper.

Mum and Dad got new bunk beds.

“They will be shorter and better ,”said Mum.

Jiabin had a look at the new bed. He had a plan.

“I need a sheet of paper for my plan,” said Jiabin.

“Look,” said Jiabin.

“He has put ＇sweet dreams＇,”said Lee.

Jiabin put the paper in the leg of the bed.

In the morning, Chip and Kipper slept on the on.
